How I commute from Palisades Park to Flushing

From Palisades Park to Flushing 

By car  

               Depending on the time of departure,

               I take either one.

               

                I-46E

                George Washington Bridge Lower Level ( Less traffic than the Upper level)

                Interstate 95 N ( Be careful of  big trucks.)

                Whitestone Bridge Exit 

                Linden Pl Exit (One of my favorite building "NY TIMES" is on the right side.)

                Left at the first traffic light

                Left onto 35^th Ave ( The 35th Ave becomes more vibrant than before.)

                Right onto Union St ( The Flushing High School is on the left.)

                Grand Central Parkway Exit ( The road is really bumpy. I always worry about tires.)

                Northern Blvd Exit 

                Right onto Union St               

                It takes 30 to 40 min.

By Bus/Subway

                166T(Express) at Broad Ave.
                Arrival at the Port Authority Terminal

                Subway 7 at Times Square ( Long walk )

                Arrival at the Flushing Main St. Station 

                Walk Roosevelt Ave to Union St.

               

                It takes about one and half hours.

                Cost:    NJ Transit …………………….$4.25

                Subway one way………….......$2.50 

                Total ………………………….$6.75      

By Shuttle Bus
                This bus is called a King Sauna Shuttle.
                Take the bus at 6^th Ave. (9:45am or 11:50am)

               I have to exchange the high price and discomfort for convenience.

               The bus arrives at the flushing commons(municipal parking) just across from my work place.

The F&T Group's another project was already started.
